Signing Day

Southern HIlls CTC recently celebrated Signing Day with students who have chosen to pursue a career in their skilled trades.  Twelve seniors signed a letter of intent to accept or continue employment after graduation.  Milacron, Mercy Health, Ohio Veterans Home, Home Maintenance, the Highland County Sherriff’s Office, and Bear Mechanics were present and ready to employ them.   

Welding students Brandon Bailey and Thomas Wymer signed with Milacron.  Colby Barber signed with Bear Mechanics.  Clinical Healthcare students, Adriana Blair, Madison Dalton, Hannah Johnston, and Alyssa Perkins signed with Mercy Health.  Jaylee Harris, Angel Powers, and Bobbie Joe Eckler signed with Ohio Veterans Home.  Construction Technologies student, Nehemiah Brummett signed with Home Maintenance.  Criminal Justice student, Levi Waits signed with the Highland County Sheriff's Office.

Thanks to; Richard Hall and Josh Turner from Milacron, Corey Richards from Bear Mechanics’s, Nicole Barnett and Nicole Howser from Mercy Health, Kim Keplinger from the Ohio Veterans Home, Matthew Meeker from Home Maintenance, and Former Southern Hills’ completer, Lt. Christopher Hunter from the Highland County Sherriff’s Office for allowing these students to continue on their career journey.
