-Career Tech Month-
Excellent questions were asked today at the Career Panel discussion. Seniors were audience members, as five esteemed professionals shared their knowledge and backgrounds with them. In less than 12 weeks these students will embark upon the world! Thank you to our panel members for sharing your time and wealth of knowledge with our seniors.

To celebrate Career Tech Month, SHCTC held it's first reverse job fair. Each program had students prepared with their resume to speak with potential employers. Several companies from the area were here to speak with these students who were ready to start their career. #SHCTC




Good Morning- SHCTC just concluded a secure lockdown in which we welcomed three canine units from Brown and Clermont Counties. SHCTC is committed to being a campus that prepares our students for the workforce and encourages all to live a drug free lifestyle.
SHCTC bowlers qualified for districts. Georgetown bowlers, Jordan Hutchison (Left) and Owen Beath (Right) bowl for Georgetown were team qualified. Ripley bowler, Drew Applegate (middle) qualified as an individual. Great job young men! #SHCTC

Mrs. Applegate's class was hard at work today working on a Lego mini project. The project was using the Six Sigma DMAIC steps, which is a strategy used to improve processes.

Seniors in Mrs. Hollifield's and Ms. Germann's English classes concluded their unit on Middle Ages literature by writing and performing skits based on "The Canterbury Tales." This required collaboration and creativity!

The Southern Hills Career Technical Center Board of Education will hold its 2023 Organizational and Regular meetings on January 10, 2023, at the Southern Hills JVSD Board of Education building.
