Good afternoon, this is Kevin Kratzer, superintendent at SHCTC. I’m reaching out this afternoon to let you know that SHCTC will be open tomorrow and we encourage students to attend. This will be our opportunity to ensure you have the directions, tools and work necessary to continue school over the next three weeks. If you feel unsafe attending school or believe you may be a risk to others health, please stay home and we will do everything we can to get you the information that you need. We hope to see everyone tomorrow morning for an important day of school.

In light of the Governor’s recent declaration, SHCTC students and staff will report on Monday, March 16. Both our staff and students will take this opportunity to work together on the upcoming remote and online learning assignments. At the end of that day we will go on the three week “spring break” that was dictated through the Governor’s office. As stated earlier this is a fluid situation and we will keep you informed as events unfold.

Parents and students of SHCTC,
In light of the recent events surrounding the Coronavirus, SHCTC will be joining other Brown County schools in canceling all student classes for tomorrow, Friday, March 13. The purpose of this closure is to allow our staff the opportunity to prepare online and remote learning experiences for our students should it become necessary to endure an extended closure. Our intention is to resume normal classes on Monday, March 16, however this is an extremely fluid situation. We will stay in communication with our students and parents as things evolve.

Three recent graduates: Kodi Brown, Trey Kirker and Jacob Arledge will complete their degrees and graduate from Hobart on April 10th. #LoveSHCTC
