They searched for words, hidden in headwords and definitions, that reflected their personalities, passions, and values. With color, symbols, and imagination, they transformed language into art. To kick off Fire Prevention Week, firefighters Jim Leonard, Dusty Leonard, Ryan Regenstein, and Tyler Farrow from Ripley Fire Department visited our Pre-K class. The Pre-K students learned about fire safety, fire equipment, explored the fire truck, and got their very own fire hat!
