We would like to introduce our new Intervention Specialist, Katie Robinson. Katie earned her bachelor's degree from Morehead State University and her master's degree from Grand Canyon University. Before coming to SHCTC, she spent several months in Northwest Montana teaching special education and exploring Glacier National Park after working at the WEST Program at Western Brown for two years. Her hobbies are sports, camping and boating on the Ohio River and has a five-month-old puppy, Huck. Katie expressed it perfectly when she said "I am very grateful to be a part of SHCTC and I plan to be here for many years. Truly a wonderful place to be every day!" #loveshctc

Visual Design seniors are learning to operate a Roland VersaUV LEF UV Benchtop Flatbed in lab. A specialty printer that prints with eco-solvent inks and cures with ultraviolet light can print on a wide variety of substrates such as plastic, wood, acrylic, metals, and glass. This printer has a variety of commercial applications such as custom boxes, folios, acrylic awards, keychains, earrings, flip flops, cosmetic cases, wallets, golf balls, cell phone cases, etc. These students printed their names on their portfolios today.
