After juniors read The Crucible play and seniors read the epic Beowulf in Ms. Germann’s English classes, these students created multi-media projects to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of key events and characters, symbols, themes, and historical significance. Projects ranged from replicas of meeting halls and ships used in the Anglo-Saxon period to timelines and propaganda posters related to the Salem Witch Trials. Students were encouraged to utilize labs skills by incorporating woodworking, welding, technology, visual design, CAD, and even cooking!
