Friday, October 29, 2021 Bright Local SD is closed. They will be running a shuttle to SHCTC that will leave Carmel @ 6:30, Belfast @ 6:45, the Elementary @ 7:05, and the High School @ 7:20. The shuttle will return at the end of the school day.

Karlie Klump, Senior Clinical Health student from Georgetown, was inducted into the Paul R. Rainey Chapter of the National Honor Society this morning at Georgetown High School.
Congratulations Karlie....we are proud of you!!!


The first annual Georgetown G-Men Gobbler Gallop 5K and 1-mile Turkey Waddle is scheduled for Sat, 11/20 at 8:00 am. Event proceeds will go toward the Student Wellness Fund. The fee to register is $20.

October 25 - 29, 2021 is Red Ribbon Week. Each day we will have a special theme of the day. Classrooms will be decorating their door or can create a display using items from your lab/subject area about being drug free. The winning class will get a special surprise!

SHCTC is one of the top three finalists for this year's Trade School Trade-Up competition. SHCTC's "Project Life" program helps students with disabilities acquire the tools they need for success, in both the skilled trades and everyday life. Ready to cast your vote? On Wednesday, Mr. Dave Huggins from the Drug Free Club of America assisted with our first drug screen. To show our appreciation to our Students that choose to participate in the Southern Hills club, we awarded them with a Southern Hills sweatshirt and a bag of treats.
