Culinary Arts juniors made a birthday cake for Mr. Kratzer and served him after his lunch today. Happy Birthday Mr. Kratzer

Cosmetology had guest speakers from different branches of Great Clips today. They were here hosting the Great Clipper Event and do a haircut demonstration that the students later got to try out with their guidance.

Sophomores interested in attending SHCTC next year, you and your parents are invited to Sophomore Parent Night, Mon., November 22 from 6-8 p.m. We have 12 state-of-the-art labs you can visit.

For Red Ribbon Week, the Challenge classes sponsored a "Be Drug Free" decorated door or display competition. Congratulations to Senior Cosmo's Don't Let Drugs Make You Lose Your Head. Thanks to all that participated.

Just a reminder, SHCTC will not be in session tomorrow, Tuesday, November 2, 2021. The building is used as a polling location and will be closed to students.

Mr. Kratzer and and Mr. Stephens sharing to the Brown County Retired Teachers on Thursday, October 28 the excellent academic programs and opportunities that exist for our youth and adults.

SHCTC will not be printing report cards for the first quarter. You can view your child's report card for the first quarter through Progressbook.

Friday, October 29, 2021 Bright Local SD is closed. They will be running a shuttle to SHCTC that will leave Carmel @ 6:30, Belfast @ 6:45, the Elementary @ 7:05, and the High School @ 7:20. The shuttle will return at the end of the school day.
Karlie Klump, Senior Clinical Health student from Georgetown, was inducted into the Paul R. Rainey Chapter of the National Honor Society this morning at Georgetown High School.
Congratulations Karlie....we are proud of you!!!

The first annual Georgetown G-Men Gobbler Gallop 5K and 1-mile Turkey Waddle is scheduled for Sat, 11/20 at 8:00 am. Event proceeds will go toward the Student Wellness Fund. The fee to register is $20.

October 25 - 29, 2021 is Red Ribbon Week. Each day we will have a special theme of the day. Classrooms will be decorating their door or can create a display using items from your lab/subject area about being drug free. The winning class will get a special surprise!
SHCTC is one of the top three finalists for this year's Trade School Trade-Up competition. SHCTC's "Project Life" program helps students with disabilities acquire the tools they need for success, in both the skilled trades and everyday life. Ready to cast your vote?
