SHCTC students and families,
As we navigate these strange times, I wanted to send out our reopening plan for the upcoming school year. The plan has been approved by the Brown County Board of Health, and it has been constructed to be flexible as conditions in our area change. Please remember that, like everything with the COVID 19 pandemic, things are changing at a rapid pace and what is built into this plan may look quite different in mid-August when the school year begins. Above all, please know the SHCTC is dedicated to keeping our students and staff as safe as possible, while at the same time providing the high quality career technical education you chose when you selected SHCTC. Congrats to Jeffrey Reilly!! He completed an Adult Education welding class and obtained his diploma and an AWS Welding Certification!!
Final reminder: Tomorrow will be the last day for the SHCTC juniors (Class of 2021) to stop in and pickup report cards, fill out class schedule, complete a survey on electronics/internet access, complete final forms, get a fun 2020 shctc t-shirt, pay fees and return electronics and/or books. Office staff will be on hand from 9:00-3:00. We are looking forward to seeing those who haven’t made it in yet.
Reminder: Junior (Class of 2021) drop off and pick up today (Tuesday) 9:00-12:00 & 3:00-7:00 and tomorrow (Wednesday) 9:00-3:00.
SHCTC students on C103 today
SHCTC will be on C103 radio station at about 10:30 today. C103 asked to interview the students who were the Class of 2020 top CTC students from each of the six affiliate districts.
SHCTC Junior Drop Off (Class of 2021) will be on Tuesday, May 26th from 9:00am-12:00pm and 4:00pm-7:00pm
and then Wednesday, May 27th from 9:00am-3:00pm.
Students will be able to pick up report cards, schedule classes, complete a survey regarding electronics and internet access, complete final forms, return all devices and textbooks, and if possible pay fees. We also have a t-shirt commemorating this unique school year! Can’t wait to see you!
2020 Seniors-
•Please be sure to download and save any documents you might want for the future (ie. your resume) from SHCTC ‘cloud’. Your SHCTC email and account will become inactive starting July 1. Please be sure to get your docs saved elsewhere as soon as possible.
•We certainly missed those seniors who were not able to be apart of the Senior Ceremony on 5/14. If you are one of those individuals, please stop in the office at your earliest convenience. We are looking forward to giving you your completion certificate and the other items that the CTC staff put together for you!

A few last minute reminders for the completion ceremony this evening.
* Arrival time for students is 6:15 PM
* School attire dress code, but you are certainly welcome to dress up if you so choose
* Restroom facilities are not available so make sure that you use the restroom prior to coming to the ceremony
*Please display your green parking pass in your passengers side of the vehicle
*The choice of getting out of the car and retrieving your box or staying in your car and having the box placed in the vehicle is available. You will relay your wishes to Mrs. Copas at a checkpoint during the ceremony. As you pull up only the Senior is permitted to exit the vehicle. We will have a staff member taking pictures outside. Family members are welcome to take pictures from inside the vehicle
*SHCTC seniors have a parking spot for the ceremony. Whoever they can fit in the vehicle is welcome; however, we can not accommodate additional vehicles
* Vehicles must fit in a standard size parking spot
*Please see the video posted on SHCTC’s Facebook page with a virtual practice of how things will go this evening.
*Please remain in your assigned parking spots. Dismissal will be coordinated, for a parade style exit
SHCTC has the best staff! So many individuals came together over the past couple weeks to give our students a memorable completion ceremony. There is no doubt about it- We love the class of 2020!

Good Evening! A couple reminders from SHCTC.
There will be one more food delivery and/or pick up for the school year which will be on Monday, May 18th.
The completion ceremony is set for Thursday, May 14th, with the ceremony start time of 7:00pm. Each senior has a parking spot that correlates with their assigned parking number. Students are allowed to have family/friends in their vehicle with them. Only one parking spot per student. Vehicles must fit into the assigned parking spot.
